The CI Better Everyday from Channel Islands Surfboards is the evolution of one of CI’s most loved models — the Happy Everyday. Designed for surfers who wanted to ride their everyday performance board even more, the Better Everyday refines and enhances the original concept for 2025.
Positioned perfectly between the high-performance Two Happy and the step-down Rocket Wide, the Better Everyday is built for high-performance surfing in the majority of waves most of us ride every day. Smoother off the bottom, livelier off the top, and more versatile in slightly larger surf — this is everyday performance, upgraded.

Created by master shaper Britt Merrick, the Better Everyday keeps everything surfers loved about the Happy Everyday while introducing subtle yet meaningful refinements. The trademark hip has been relaxed for smoother bottom turns and a broader range in bigger waves, while added flip out of the tail increases looseness and responsiveness off the lip.

Construction Details
Construction: PU (Polyurethane Foam + Polyester Resin)
For Channel Islands shortboards 6'4 and under in PU construction: 2 x 4oz deck glass with 1 x 4oz bottom glass, finished with a high-performance stock glass job using premium polyurethane foam and polyester resin.
Wave Recommendation
Wave Size: Waist-high to overhead and slightly above.
Wave Type: Beach breaks, point breaks, and reef breaks.
Wave Power: Best suited to medium to punchy conditions.
