The Lib Tech x Lost RNF Retro Fish is a full-on beaked nose, winged swallow tail speed fish with deep San Diego roots. A modern evolution of the iconic RNF concept from Lost Surfboards, this retro-inspired fish is built to fly in the smallest conditions yet with the right fins and solid rail engagement, it delivers magic in fast, overhead surf of any size.
This board blends classic fish speed with modern bottom contours and Lib Tech’s ultra-durable eco construction, creating a lively, fast, and stylish performance fish that excels across a wide range of conditions.

The Design
A stable, flat deck with smooth, tapered rails and generous forward volume provides effortless paddling and glide through soft sections. The forgiving, rounded entry bottom transitions into a mild single concave under the front foot, flowing into a double concave spiral V under the back foot.
This contour combination works seamlessly with the sidecut outline and winged swallow tail to control the wide, fast tail allowing powerful carves, torqued arcs in the pocket, and smooth rail engagement on the open face.
Finished with rich color tones and a beautifully illustrated logo by Drew Brophy, the RNF Retro Fish blends performance, heritage, and standout aesthetics.
