The RNF ’96 from Lost Surfboards is a modern take on the classic “fish” design, originally developed for Chris and Cory in the lead-up to the 1997 surf film. Built for performance and fun, this board is a rip-able all-around machine suitable for a wide range of surfers.
Combining 25 years of design evolution and testing by surfers like Kolohe, Coco, Ian Crane, and Crosby Cola, the RNF ’96 delivers speed, drive, and maneuverability in a compact, twin-fin inspired package. It remains true to the spirit of the original while integrating modern refinements for everyday surfing and high-performance fun.

Crafted with input from Mark Richards fins, the RNF ’96 uses the famous twin-fin template for exceptional drive and speed. A small stabilizer (center fin) maintains freedom and maneuverability, giving you the full RNF ’96 experience with precise control in turns.
