Designed by Mike Olson with input from Hendo, this board excels at nose rides while maintaining a fun, shortboard-like feel. The flat, wide concave nose generates speed and effortless glide, perfect for extended nose rides. Parallel rail lines through the midsection maintain trim speed, while the rounded pin tail with pronounced rocker ensures easy turning, hold, and control through performance arcs off the tail.
The forgiving catch-free chine runs along the rails from in front of the fins to the nose, while a single concave transitioning to a double V out the tail enhances planing speed and allows smooth rail-to-rail transitions. Compact enough to fit in elevators or cars, yet capable of ripping like a shorter board and gliding like a longer one, the 8’ Pickup Stick has become a global favorite.
